Jalak Weapon

This Bethok was made in the Pajajaran era. It’s broad blade is different from the Budha Bethok. Although it is made in the usual folded iron method, but a circling fibre is visible indicating that it was designed for a certain specific purpose, among others as a heirloom at the agricultural regions of the kingdom, for the prosperity of agriculture and plantations. This bethok photohraph was once used as an illustration in the book “Serat Paniti Kadga”, printed by the Uitgeverij en Boekhandel, Stoomdrukkerij “De Biliksem”, Solo (1928). This used as an heirloom in the agrarian territory of the kingdom for the prosperity of agriculture and plantations.
